Over the years, many poets have travelled to the environs of the English Riviera in search of inspiration, quiet and beautiful natural scenery. They don’t all have a blue plaque on the historical places they lived (though many do) but we in Torbay keep their memories alive. This evening some poems, and the occasional prose piece, will be read by local poets. So sit back and enjoy some serious poetry, familiar poetry and some humorous poetry introduced by the Festival Organiser, Patricia Oxley.
